Visit Raleigh’s Overnight Getaway Giveaway Sponsored by Reborn Clothing Co., Origin Raleigh Hotel, Sullivan’s Steakhouse and North Hills

Reborn Clothing Co., Origin Raleigh Hotel, Sullivan’s Steakhouse, North Hills, and the Greater Raleigh Convention and Visitors Bureau/visitRaleigh.com have partnered for an Overnight Getaway Giveaway to promote staycations and travel to the area. The project offers visitors and residents the opportunity to enter for a chance to win an overnight stay with a $735 prize value. Giveaway entry opens on Fri., Oct. 23, and closes on Tues., Nov. 17. A winner will be randomly selected out of all who enter on Wed., Nov. 18.

The giveaway includes a stay at Origin Raleigh, a boutique hotel that was scheduled to open in March just before North Carolina’s state-wide shelter-in-place order was announced. Origin opened under COVID guidelines in July. The Origin team looks forward to easing guests back into travel with their travel package, which also includes two welcome cocktails and a $25 voucher to the hotel’s restaurant, Good Day Good Night.

“While 2020 hasn’t been the easiest year to open a hotel, we have taken this as an opportunity to set the bar high and provide an exceptionally clean and relaxing hotel experience for our guests and fellow locals,” Origin Raleigh Brand Activation & Sales Manager Karlee Tanel said. Being one of the only boutique hotels in Raleigh, we are proud to provide a luxury yet local and personalized experience for our guests to escape for even just a night.”

Reborn Clothing Co., an upcycling company which repurposes surplus, outdated or otherwise abandoned textile materials into usable products, is contributing a deluxe travel trio which includes a weekender duffel, toiletry case, and a zipper pouch fashioned using repurposed Sunbrella fabric.

“We’re proud to be part of a community that consistently comes together during times of need, and we hope that this giveaway can be a source of joy and fun to aid Raleigh’s tourism recovery efforts,” Reborn Founder & CEO Emily Neville said.

Sullivan’s Steakhouse is contributing a $100 voucher to the giveaway as a thank-you to the Raleigh community and its visitors for continued support in an unprecedented year.

“I will personally say that I have never seen such a tenacity of small business as I have this year. Working with the giveaway partners has not only been an amazing step forward coming out of COVID-19, but it has shown strength in how multiple brands can come together to come up with great ideas,” Sullivan’s Steakhouse Regional Sales & Event Planner Chris Rogers said.

North Hills is contributing a $250 gift card so visitors and residents can explore or rediscover its eclectic mix of local shops, restaurants, world-class bars, and spas.

The Greater Raleigh Convention and Visitors Bureau is hosting the giveaway entry on its website in partnership with the hospitality businesses that have come together to help promote visitation and tourism recovery.

To ensure a healthy getaway and that you can travel confidently, each participating giveaway partner has been Count on Me NC certified—a public health initiative that specifically trains businesses to help keep everyone (both employees and guests) safe from COVID-19. And remember, when traveling, wear a mask, wash your hands, wait six feet apart from others and leave no trace outdoors.
