Here’s to Making Sustainability the New Norm

It’s time to step up our game.

With every passing decade, fashion and textiles have had an increasing impact on our environment. Now more than ever, what you buy, and what textile corporations construct, matters. For years, the fashion industry has taken it’s toll on our planet, but it’s a new year, a new decade, and we’re pledging to keep pushing toward a new model of sustainability.

The EPA estimates that the textile recycling industry recycles 3.8 billion pounds of textile waste each year. Sounds like a lot, right? The problem is that recycling just a few billion pounds of textile waste still leaves 85% of it in landfills, with the United States alone generating 21 billion pounds of textile waste every year. We’ve got a big issue on our hands.

At Reborn, we’re helping cut that waste down. We’ve dedicated ourselves to conscious creating, and we want you to dedicate yourself to conscious spending this year. After all, your purchases don’t just affect you, they affect our planet.

In 2020, we’re partnering with more universities, more corporations and helping more individuals divert their clothes from the landfill. So while you challenge yourself to keep conscious, we’re challenging ourselves to broaden our corporate partnerships and to take on 100 new university accounts to keep more schools’ T-shirts, banners, athletic uniforms and more from wasting away in the trash.

Keep your eyes peeled — we could be partnering with your favorite brand or alma mater next!
