Hey guys!
Welcome to Chapter One of Reborn Clothing Co.’s Blog. We’re so excited to get this blog going with new content every week so you can have an inside look at our company. Reborn is growing rapidly and we can’t wait to continue sharing our story with you.
Here at Reborn, we’ve made it our mission to reach you and your abandoned clothing in order to promote sustainable fashion on a personal level. Our goal is to help you reduce your personal contribution to textile waste and while we want to repurpose your cherished items for you, we want you to be a part of closing the loop as well.
Our aim is to to empower you to implement sustainable practices in your everyday life. This is why we offer DIY Closet Makeovers – for you to bring your old t-shirts, tops, and bottoms and transform them into something you can fall in love with, all over again. For you to see the potential in old clothes that can be reused or up cycled, instead of throwing them away. For you to bring your organization together to unwind, spark some creativity and maybe get your hands on a sewing machine for the very first time.
Our passionate team loves working with the community to bring about awareness while having creative, energetic fun. We strive to create a feel-good, do-good environment in order to fuel our powerful purpose.

In the past, we’ve had tremendous success with our community outreach and we plan to continue this by hosting frequent events for our community to get and stay involved. From DIY events at Pullen Community Center and Saint Mary’s School, to free kids sewing programs at Chavis Community Center that promote female empowerment and entrepreneurship, to simply tabling at NC State Campus Farmers Market and other sustainability events, we are working tirelessly to propel our mission and reach the people willing to join us, with the same energy and purpose.
This week we’re spotlighting an exciting event we have coming up in just 3 weeks. Reborn is hosting a DIY Closet Makeover event on Saturday, April 14 at our company HQ, Loading Dock Raleigh. The event will run from 10am to 2pm, but you can drop in any time to transform and upcycle your old clothes, while doing your part to reduce textile waste. Give these loved clothes a new life by making them into ribbed tanks, fabric flowers, throw pillows, t-shirt tote bags, lavender sachets, headbands and more. Creative minds and hands ages 8 and above can enjoy this fun DIY opportunity and everyone can enjoy yummy treats for purchase from our friends at Jubala Coffee.
Our team cannot wait to meet with you and show you all the ways your clothing can be Reborn. The possibilities are endless! Visit our Facebook page to register for this event.

A huge shoutout to our HQ, Loading Dock Raleigh! This space has helped our company reach new heights and given us a place to co-work, collaborate, network and now reach our community and their closets. LDR has been vital in our growth and success so far, and our DIY event will give you an inside look on where the magic happens.

DIY Closet Makeovers are great for company team building, friends and family events, and all kinds of de-stress/community giving activities. Our DIY events are a fun way for friends, coworkers, and the community to come together and upcycle loved clothing. Book the Reborn team for a fun and memorable event! For inquiries about booking a session, email inquiries@rebornclothing.co about possible dates.
