At Reborn, we’re always looking for new ways to expand our brand and increase the accessibility of sustainable products and apparel. That’s why we’re proud to announce the opening of our first retail location in North Hills, Raleigh, NC. To test our storefront concept, this first store is a pop-up running through the end of the year. Our store sells a variety of our online products; including collaborations like our Sunbrella collection and upcycled Champion tees. We also sell Reborn U gear and merch licensed with NC State, ECU, and App State. A section of our store also serves our Reborn Closet line, so that it’s easier than ever to upcycle your clothing into a unique transformation you can cherish for years to come!
The founder of Reborn Clothing Co., Emily Neville, states, “Opening this pop-up shop in North Hills is an exciting new chapter for Reborn. Not only does it symbolize our economy reopening after COVID-19, but it is an intentional strategy to focus on direct to consumer after college bookstores closed last year and continued realization of the importance of building customer allegiance.
The Retail Team
What better way to commence our store opening than by hiring a team of NC State students who have a passion for textiles! Our retail team consists of 3 talented students, including a first-year, fourth-year, and master’s student. One thing our team has in common is a love for customer service.
“I love getting to talk to customers, help them make decisions, and hear their feedback on our products,” says Lora Sipal, a retail associate at Reborn. Cheyenne, another retail associate for Reborn, states that similar to Lora, her favorite part about her job is seeing the customer’s reaction to their finished Reborn Closet piece!
Partner & Shop
We like to consider our store as a “hub” for endless possibilities. This Tuesday we hosted our first official event where we invited schools and organizations in our local area to come and see t-shirt options for their next event or team’s t-shirt needs.
Our store has also provided an outlet for people to act on sustainability instead of encouraging waste. For example, a local construction company came to our North Hills store with a project of turning their construction site mesh into tote bags for giveaways. Whether you’re looking to partner or shop, our doors are open for you.
We are thrilled to have this North Hills, Raleigh, NC location through the end of the year and can’t wait to see what other connections and opportunities come our way.
